Cru Covid-19 Update for Parents

As we head into a new school year, we want to affirm our desire to be a safe space for your student in all aspects of that word. It is our assumption that the virus is an active, transmittable, serious health concern in our community.

Our commitment is not only to your student but also to your family and to our community. However, it is not possible to totally prevent exposure to the virus or its spread. Cru cannot prevent your minor child from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading the virus while attending or participating in a Cru gathering or event. Therefore, if you choose to give permission for your child to attend a Cru gathering, you recognize that they may be exposed to and/or increase their risk of contracting or spreading the coronavirus. With this in mind, we want you to know that we are committed to practices that uphold good hygiene, cleaning, and sanitizing. We have protocols in place that match and often exceed local standards set by the CDC, and local jurisdictions, including providing all commonly accepted protective steps related to COVID-19.

Our heart is for your student to grow in mind, body, and spirit through their connection with Cru. It is also our heart to follow these guidelines as a reflection of loving our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40) and providing a safe environment for students to experience the love of Christ.
