Hung Thach

hung-thach

Hung’s family fled from war-torn South Vietnam in 1975 to the United States, where they were sponsored by a local church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Hung and his wife, Angela, have served with Cru for 20 years, and Hung currently serves as the team leader for Cru’s high school ministry in Los Angeles.

Hung and Angela are committed to reaching students in some of the most underserved areas of LA. They work primarily in the nearby inner cities of Compton and Long Beach and in Buddhist Vietnamese areas of Southern California. Their passion is to help bring the love and truth of Jesus to teenagers in their city and the world. Their family embraces the messiness of ministry and loves sharing life with the staff members, college students and teens they have the privilege of serving and leading.

Hung and Angela have been married for 23 years and have three children: Caleb, Brooke and Jericho.
