She desires to help others feel seen, known, and understood in ways that she was noT. Sometimes our calling can be driven by wounds in our own life. Take some time to explore how your past wounds and hurts have influenced your passions, interests, and the impact you desire to make in the world.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scripture to Study<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCome to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.\u201d (Matthew 11: 28-30)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wise Words to Consider<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI think when we are with people or in places where we are loved and enjoyed for being versus doing, that is what true rest is and what true home is \u2026 And I think that\u2019s what Jesus invites us to as well. Places might not feel like home and people might not feel like home. We can even feel lonely with people that know and love us. But ultimately, I think the greatest sense of home and rest comes from being delighted in by the Lord.\u201d \u2014 Dr. Kelly Mark<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Prayer to Lead You<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Father, thank you for being our home and our place of rest. We praise you, that in your kingdom we do not have to strive or perform to earn your love. Thank you for loving us just as we are. I pray that I will release my desire to earn your love and the love of others. I pray that I will sense your delight in me today. In Christ\u2019s name, Amen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Practice to Begin<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt, they were forced to participate in the never-ending cycle of brick-making. They were commanded to make more and more bricks. Pharoah always demanded more. Their work was never enough. Oftentimes we can find ourselves still trapped in this vicious and anxiety-inducing cycle of thinking that our value is dependent on our work and what we can accomplish. But God\u2019s kingdom is not like Pharoah\u2019s. This week be mindful of moments when you are tempted to believe that your worth is based on what you do. What \u201cbricks\u201d and burdens are you carrying? What is making you weary? Meditate on the reality that you are accepted as you are and not for what you can do.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What invitations do you experience from contemplating that your identity comes from being delighted in by the Lord?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Questions to Answer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When in your life have you felt most at home? When in your life have you felt least at home? What might God be revealing to you through these experiences?
