What steps might God be challenging you to take in order to live out of your identity as his image bearer?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scripture to Study<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In Luke 7:50, Jesus tells a sinful woman \u201cYour faith has saved you,\u201d and in Mark 5:34 he tells a bleeding woman \u201cYour faith has made you well.\u201d The words \u2018saved\u2019 and \u2018made well\u2019 are translated from the same exact Greek word. Jesus\u2019 invitation to salvation has implications physically, emotionally, and spiritually, now and forever. Think through your own story: What has Jesus already saved you from? Where do you need His help today on your journey toward wholeness?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wise Words to Consider<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe bear the image of God, and that is what makes us valuable\u201d&#8211;Josh Chen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Prayer to Lead You<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Father, we are people with complex longings&#8211;past, present, and future. We remember how you have met us in our longings in the past. We need your grace to meet us in our longings today. We trust you to bridge the gap revealed by our longings forever, because you promise to never leave us or forsake us. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Practice to Begin<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Train yourself to notice human longings, in stories, and in real life. As you watch movies and read stories ask: For what are the characters&#8217; longing? What lies are they believing? How could the gospel be good news to them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Questions to Answer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Have you thought about salvation as something that starts now and continues eternally?
