The Communists enforced strict controls on all Christians from 1948-1988 through discrimination, intimidation and infiltration. There has been religious freedom since 1990; but suspicion, mistrust and division still affect attitudes and the Church, and there is still resistance to the gospel in much of Hungary. It may not be apparent, but there are more than 1,500 families and individuals involved in the Hungarian ministry serving as partners with our Staff. We are grateful beyond words for your help.
