Slovakia is located in central Europe and has a population of about 5.4 million people. It is landlocked and borders five countries: Poland, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic and Ukraine. Around 80% of the country lies more than 2625 feet above sea level. It’s known for it’s 6000 caves, 180 castles and 425 chateaux. Four decades of atheism ended with the collapse of communist control in 1989 and the country now consists of 62% Roman Catholic, 10% protestant and 27% non religious or unknown.

You will spend time in the schools developing relationships with students and have opportunities through classes, outreaches, sports and English corners to share the Gospel.
