Uganda is a beautiful landlocked location in East Africa that borders five different countries. With a population of just over 34 million people, Uganda is one of the most densely populated countries and home to some of the friendliest people in Africa. Uganda is known for its pristine forest landscapes and 10 national parks and boasts of the highest concentration of chimpanzees in all of Africa. It has a tropical climate which is generally rainy with two different dry seasons. One of the fastest-growing cities in Uganda is Kampala, the capital. Kampala is referred to as the city of hills as it is surrounded by magnificent rolling hills.
Join us in Kampala for a great opportunity to connect with and befriend Ugandan students. You will have the chance to speak in classrooms, school assemblies, and school outreaches, and connect with students in common areas. It will be a fun time sharing what it’s like to be a high school student in America and learn about Ugandan culture. There will be time to follow up with new believers and come alongside in-country staff to help launch spiritual movements on campus.
On this mission, you will have the chance to help with special training for youth leaders in the area and partner with Filter of Hope to provide access to clean drinking water in this community. Come, BE A VOICE, as you build relationships with Ugandan students and share the life-changing message of the Gospel.
