Ecuador

Manta

This mission begins in LA on June 25th with a kick-off conference and mission briefing. Your mission will depart from LAX on June 30th.

Ecuador gets its name from its geographical location, straddling the equator. In Spanish, the word for equator is ‘Ecuador’. Manta is a coastal city located on Ecuador’s central coast. It is Ecuador’s largest seaport, making it an important commercial hub. Much of the economy centers around tourism and fishing. Manta has some of South America’s most breathtaking beaches and active volcanoes.

Join us in Manta for a great opportunity to connect with and befriend Ecuadorian students. You will have the chance to speak in classrooms, school assemblies, and school outreaches, and connect with students in common areas. It will be a fun time sharing what it’s like to be a high school student in America and learn about Ecuadorian culture. There will be time to follow up with new believers and come alongside in-country staff to help launch spiritual movements on campus. Come, BE A VOICE, as you build relationships with Ecuadorian students and share the life-changing message of the Gospel.
