Kosovo is the smallest landlocked country in the Balkans just about the size of Delaware. It is a self-declared independent country with a population of close to 2 million people. More than 70% of the country’s population is under the age of 35 making Kosovo the second youngest demographic in the world. Kosovo is covered in beautiful forests having very cold winters with heavy snowfalls and hot dry summers. The largest city in the country is Pristina which is also the capital. The main boulevard in Pristina is lined with cafes full of young people day and night. The city is full of beautiful architecture and is most famous for its futuristic-looking library.
