Fiji is a breathtaking island located in the South Pacific with a population of just under one million people. It’s known for its rugged landscapes, spectacular coral reefs, and palm-lined beaches. Suva is the capital city of Fiji and sits on a hilly peninsula reaching out into the sea. New Zealand is a much larger island also located in the South Pacific. It actually consists of two main landmasses, the South Island and the North Island which is where Auckland is located. New Zealand is known for its world-class skiing and surfing. A couple of interesting facts about New Zealand that may not be known are, all but one scene from Lord of the Rings is filmed there and New Zealand has more sheep than people.
This is a two-part mission. First, join us in Suva as we commit to working in the communities sharing the love of Jesus, and meeting with and connecting with students. You will be building relationships with students in Fiji and inviting them to various outreaches where you will have the chance to share the Gospel. Then you will travel to Auckland for a great opportunity to connect with and befriend New Zealand students. You will have the chance to speak in classrooms, school assemblies, and after-school outreaches, and connect with students in common areas. It will be a fun time sharing what it’s like to be a high school student in America and learn about the culture in Fiji and New Zealand. There will be time to follow up with new believers and come alongside in-country staff to help launch spiritual movements. Come, BE A VOICE, as you build relationships with Fiji and New Zealand students and share the life-changing message of the Gospel.
