Puerto Rico is a Caribbean Island and an unincorporated United States territory with a landscape of mountains, waterfalls, tropical beaches and the El Yunque rainforest. It is only 100 miles long and 35 miles wide, making it the smallest Island of the Greater Antilles. The capital, San Juan, has a population of 3.7 million people. It features colorful Spanish buildings and massive fortresses.
As a team member, you will visit students in the beautiful city of San Juan. During the day the team will speak in classrooms and special assemblies developing friendships with students, inviting them to meet after school for deeper conversations to share what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. In the evenings you will host outreach parties for your new friends where you will be able to communicate the gospel. One hope is that this mission will boost the national staff in Puerto Rico as they expand their ministry among teenagers.
