ECUADOR — Manta

This mission is open to both high school and college students. It begins in LA on June 25th with a kick-off conference and mission briefing. Your team will fly to Ecuador from LAX on June 30th.

Ecuador gets its name from its geographical location, straddling the equator. In Spanish, the word for equator is ‘Ecuador’. Manta is a coastal city located on Ecuador’s central coast. It is Ecuador’s largest seaport, making it an important commercial hub. Much of the economy centers around tourism and fishing. Manta has some of South America’s most breathtaking beaches and active volcanoes.

Join us in Manta for a great opportunity to connect with and befriend Ecuadorian students. You will have the chance to speak in classrooms, school assemblies, and school outreaches, and connect with students in common areas. It will be a fun time sharing what it’s like to be a high school student in America and learn about Ecuadorian culture. There will be time to follow up with new believers and come alongside in-country staff to help launch spiritual movements on campus.

This mission will also have the opportunity to partner with Filter of Hope to provide access to clean drinking water in this community. Come, BE A VOICE, as you build relationships with Ecuadorian students and share the life-changing message of the Gospel.
