THE HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRY OF CRU
Main Menu
The Dominican Republic is a country in the Caribbean Sea. It shares an island with Haiti and is located just 2 hours south of Miami. It is a beautiful island with nearly 1,000 miles of coastline and pristine beaches. The Dominican Republic also boasts of mountain ranges and fertile valleys. Dominicans are known for their loyalty and their commitment to their family. As a result, many people in the country prefer living in joint and multi-generational families. Baseball is by far the most popular sport in the country. The capital city, Santo Domingo, is one of the oldest yet most modern cities in the Caribbean.
Join us in Santo Domingo for a great opportunity to connect with and befriend Dominican students. You will have the chance to speak in classrooms, school assemblies, and school outreaches, and connect with students in common areas. It will be a fun time sharing what it’s like to be a high school student in America and learn about the culture in the Dominican Republic. There will be time to follow up with new believers and come alongside in-country staff to help launch spiritual movements on campus.
This mission will also have the opportunity to partner with Filter of Hope to provide access to clean drinking water in the community. Come, BE A VOICE, as you build relationships with students in Santo Domingo and share the life-changing message of the Gospel.
