Source Sans Pro is not overly stylized or too trendy, but it has unique curvature that adds character and friendliness. It is versatile: It has six weights and supports seven of the 12 languages that reach 80% of the world.
Each of our ministries needs to reach its audience. At times a serif, display or hand-lettered font is helpful to create visual interest, but they should be used sparingly — in no more than 10-15% of any given communication. Never replace Source Sans Pro.
With this power comes responsibility. We don’t recommend Comic Sans, but if it helps you reach your audience – go for it.
