Daredevilry on the High Ropes
Tuesday, June 24
Yesterday we decided to do a bit of daredevilry.
We hit up the high ropes course at the camp nearby where we are staying. The students and staff members took turns climbing up trees and crossing wires and other obstacles at more than 30 feet off the ground.
The crux of this exercise was to cross a wobbly wooden plank, and then jump into the air and hit a bell with our hand. Only 4 people within our group were able to pull off this feat.
The next few days we will be doing more programs and activities, including mountain biking, rock climbing and hiking, while focusing on living authentic Christian lives.
