Salary and Benefits
Campus Crusade's compensation plan is based on need, not on a position of leadership. All staff members, including the president, Steve Douglass, work under the same pay scale.
Each staff member is required to develop a team of ministry partners to contribute funds to Campus Crusade to cover salaries, Social Security, benefits, training, and ministry expenses, plus a portion of the administrative and international expansion costs.
In order to keep our staff free from financial distractions and focused on our mission, our salary structure promotes a moderate lifestyle, longevity in ministry, and individual freedom and responsibility for staff.
Salary
Each staff member starts with a base salary which is then increased based on age, the size of family, geographic location, and tenure to arrive at a maximum salary.
Staff members may then request their salary to be any amount between the minimum required salary and the maximum amount. Additional salary may be requested for special needs like the purchase of a car or college tuition for children.
Typical Annual Salaries
2009 Average Staff Family’s Monthly Compensation: $6,502
2009 Average Staff Single’s Monthly Compensation: $2,549

Group Life Insurance
A generous basic life insurance program is offered for all staff members.

Campus Crusade also provides long-term disability coverage.
Worker's Compensation
In the event of a job-related injury, we provide worker's compensation.
