Applies principles of accounting to reconcile corporate bank accounts with the general ledger. Duties and responsibilities include the following: Consults with field ministries concerning financial reports and statements for submission to CCC Board of Directors and top leadership, analyzes and reconciles accounts to verify accuracy and identify problem areas, performs research and correction of outstanding items, reports results of research and recommends appropriate courses of action, responsible for audit functions including gathering information, reconciliation and analysis of internal accounts, train other team members in basic accounting techniques, advises and consults with field leadership concerning financial reporting and performs wide variety of ministry financial projects using PeopleSoft Financial System and Microsoft Excel.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting from four-year college or university and 1 - 3 years of accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to perform tasks with extremely close attention to detail and ability to maintain a positive attitude during periods of heavy workload. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to use tact, patience, and courtesy.
