Members of a Brazilian church explain the meaning of ?!. and tell the gospel to over 3,000 people in the city of Nova Friburgo, Brazil during Carnaval, an event when “people forget that they are people,” explains Alberto Bonifacio da Silva, a student in the church.

The week before Carnaval students in the church youth group (Generation Without Limits), practice potential conversations and rehearse explaining quatro pontos, or the four points of ?!.
What the 4 Points Meant
Three students joined Carnaval in ?!. costumes. “It was funny because the marks were sharing the gospel with the people,” says Wesley, “Many people took pictures with them.” By the end of Carnaval, over 1,000 people had indicated decisions for Christ.
Campus Crusade for Christ staff member Wesley Cunha trains his church in preparation for the outreach. Over 200 members of the church went out during Carnaval.
Members of the church stick ?!. onto over 200 of their cars, many of which still display them half a year later.
The t-shirts attracted so much attention that one local store owner asked to buy some for his window mannequins to draw shoppers. Felipe and Adriana, two church members display their “?!. NOW I KNOW” shirts with family and Campus Crusade staff member Priscila Cunha, on left.
The church used a variety of mediums to attract attention to ?!. including billboards, websites, and t-shirts. Here, church member Bill displays a new haircut in honor of the outreach, while Pastor Alceu of Generation Without Limits looks on.
