Sierra Leone is moving forward from its tragic recent history: 11 years of madness that claimed up to 100, 000 lives, maimed many thousands and scarred most of the population one way or another. Christian ministries are actively involved in rebuilding the country, and are seeing notable fruit on all levels. Yet very few historic denominations have grown significantly in the last 40 years; there is a great need for hearts of unity and prayer within the Church in order to reach out in loving witness to the non-Christian majority.
