Bob began his staff work with Campus Crusade in 1999 serving as advisor to Bill Bright, who commissioned him as architect for a seamless transition to the new president of Campus Crusade, Steve Douglass.

Since October 2000, Bob has also given leadership to a partnership called Table 71 whose goal is to help reach all the remaining unreached people groups of the world; Table 71 includes the heads of Campus Crusade, Wycliffe, Youth With a Mission (YWAM), International Mission Board (IMB), DAWN Ministries, TransWorld Radio (TWR), Walk Thru the Bible and Free Indeed Ministries.

From 2005-2008, Bob served as Executive Director of the Christian Embassy in Washington, D.C.

Bob has been the Senior Presidential Advisor at Campus Crusade since 2000. In 2010 he was asked to be vice president with the global responsibility for one of Campus Crusade’s mission critical components: leader-led movements.

“I have a passionate vision for mobilizing leaders to find their God-ordained role in the Body of Christ,” says Bob, “with the goal that a city, a nation, and the world be filled with true followers of Jesus.”

Bob holds a Ph.D. in computer science from The Pennsylvania State University. After doing research at Bell Laboratories for 3 years, Bob began a 25-year career as an entrepreneur, where he headed 3 companies and either merged them with public companies or led the initial public offering. Bob retired from the marketplace in 1998.

Sandy, his wife of 43 years, was recognized by Washingtonian Magazine as one of DC metro area’s “Top 100 Dentists.” Bob and Sandy have 2 married daughters, Tammy and Karlayne, and 3 grandsons.
