Dear Steve,
For decades, InterVarsity and Campus Crusade for Christ have worked together on the college campuses of America to reach students for Jesus Christ. As we stated on our InterVarsity blog recently, “Both of our ministries desire to see students and faculty come to know Jesus Christ personally and be transformed by the power of the gospel message.”
We are so thankful for the boldness and consistency of Campus Crusade staff and students in pursuing our Lord’s Great Commission. We are also grateful for the integrity with which you pursue ministry – to the degree that we have together with other campus ministries signed The Chicago Agreement which describes how we will cooperate and respect each others’ work on campus.
We know that on many campuses your ministry has gone by the name Cru for years, and without any reduction in the zeal for Christ and for lifting up His name. We believe God will continue to bless your ministry in the future, and we count it a pleasure to serve God with you.
